Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
